ABOUT THE PROJECT

As an in-house designer at LA'CORE, I was responsible for developing designs of packaging products, print & publication, marketing materials, as well as various creative projects such as promotional videos, event backdrops, etc.

Packaging Design

Some of the packaging designs I've created over 1.5 years working at LA'CORE. I primarily used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as the good old pen and paper, and watercolors. 

Cream tube design: Face cleansers, foot cream, and slimming cream

Cream tube design: Cleansing gel, peeling pack, and face scrub

Cream tube design: Cleansing massage cream

Perfumed shower gel series

Scented series: Shower gel, lotion, hand soap, and women's wash 

Scented series: Jasmine, Lavender, Lily, Rose, Aloe, Alpine Flowers, Green Tea

Face mist and skin tonic. Skin tonic image was drawn with watercolor

Nose pack (with silver foil print), stretch mark cream

Face masks series. Each design was hand-drawn with a fineliner pen, scanned, and vectorized

Nutrition cream with black caviar extract, cream for oily, acne-prone skin, and brightening cream

Publication

Catalogue layout & design

Some sample pages from quarterly catalogues (simulated, not actual photo). I mostly used Adobe InDesign for all printed materials like catalogue, price lists and flyers. I designed the products featured on these pages as well. Catalogues were printed on glossy 80gsm paper stock for inner pages and high gloss coated 150gsm paper for cover pages. Because the catalogues were perfect bound, I needed to account for inner edges of paper being "eaten" into the gutter, especially for continious images
