Hi, I'm Anastasiya Pak, a designer, a creative and an adventure lover. I live in San Francisco but I was born in Uzbekistan and raised in Russia, all while being Korean by blood. I guess that makes me a World baby.
I'm intrigued by how people think and behave, what makes them do things they way they do them, and how I can design for a better experience. I love working with the end-user to create a solution that is meaningful, impactful and valuable to both the user and the business.
Ever since I was a kid, I knew my calling was in the creative field. At first I wanted to be a painter, but I didn't like dealing with the messy side of it - spills, smears and having my hands covered in paint. So, I pursued a degree in Graphic Design at Swinburne University of Technology. I loved building visual assets like branding and packaging designs and seeing them come to life.
In my product design work I wanted to work with something that was meaningful to people, and to make things work better. I loved designing for the user rather than the product.
Outside of work, I like rock climbing, playing video games (especially in VR!), and attending rock concerts. I have a rescue dog, Loki, a 40-something pounds of pure energy. Going for nature hikes with him is one of my favorite weekend past times.
